Yukon Ho!

I am boarding a plane for my homeland tomorrow because Mom and I are spending the weekend at the Kachemak Bay Writers' Conference. I am really excited about the conference, especially because Anne Lamott is the keynote speaker (she is one of my favorite writers, as you can see from the list of books I love). It will be fun to spend time with Mom too, and Homer is a great town. I doubt I will be posting much while I am there, but I will be sure to give a full report when I get back. I feel confident that all the writing tips will result in a vastly improved blog on my return!

  1. Hi Ashley! I have been meaning to comment for a bit...I love this idea of your Quaker blog and it has been really inspiring and educational for me to read some of your postings. I look forward to hearing about this conference--we'll have to catch up sometime soon when you get back. -Kirsten

  2. Hi Kirsten,

I'm so glad you like the blog! I've been meaning to call you because I am still hoping to run in that very long race with you next month. I ran seven miles on the Homer Spit over the weekend, so I think I should be able to train in time, though I really need to get on it! I will try to give you a call in the next few days.
